The access methods below describe the private source edition. This hosted workspace runs sample data and local CSV only.
Choose the access method the system supports
OData v2 / v4
Read an activated entity set through an HTTP destination and the configured destination. Map service properties to VBAP fields in the source profile.
REST / Integration Suite
Read a bounded JSON endpoint returning an array or {"rows": [...]}. An iFlow can perform the SAP extraction and expose the same contract.
SOAP table read
Call an approved SOAP 1.1 RFC_READ_TABLE binding. It must already be activated and authorized. Native RFC destinations are a different protocol.
Native RFC / BAPI
Requires an RFC-capable runtime, SAP SDK and supported connectivity configuration. A standard SOCKS library alone does not make the SAP RFC SDK proxy-aware.
Direct HANA SQL
Requires database credentials and an approved database network path or TCP bridge. An existing HTTP Cloud Connector entry does not provide that path.
Event Mesh
Business events can trigger data updates, but are not a general VBAP table query. A publisher, queue consumer and persistent projection would be needed.
